Professional Experience
I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). My primary research interests lie in the semiparametric modeling of survival data. I also have experience in regression modeling, experimental design, spatial statistics, and the development of statistical software in R.
Education
I earned my B.Sc. in Statistics from FCT-Unesp in 2003, and my M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Statistics from UFMG in 2006 and 2010, respectively. During my doctoral studies, I completed a sandwich internship at the University of Connecticut.
