As of today, the R package 'PandemicLP' developed by the CovidLP team is available for installation.

The package contains the functions used by our application to extract epidemiological data of Covid19, adjust the models for new and accumulated cases, and make short and long term predictions. The package originated with the need to make the forecasting methods behind our application available for other users to use as well. In addition, the functions of the package have detailed documentation on the steps of adjusting and estimating the prediction model.

To install the package on R, go to:

and read the installation instructions.

This initial version includes the model that is currently being used to make daily predictions for most countries in our application. Soon, we will have updates to include some more methodology options.
